I currently attend my local community college, Northwest Vista College, in San Antonio, Texas as a history major, with emphasis
on the classical world (the Mycenaeans to the Romans c. 470 CE). I grew up in rural South Texas about 100 miles inland from
the Gulf (30 miles outside of the nearest large city, Victoria), and my accent, vernacular, and, to some exent, politics show
it. I am currently going through the process of picking up the bits and pieces of myself since my last break-up about a year
ago. I am a romantic, always have been. As to my favorite things, I really enjoy conversation and connection, as well as anything
that would facilitate them. Thing like dark chocolate, real coffee, cooking, games, music (of all sorts), cinema (especially
film noir), literature (both poetry and prose), and the like. I have studied Latin extensively, by the way, so...si intelliges
mi linguam, voce me.

I'm rather good at speaking and writing. I'm good at learning, just about anything, and teaching. I'm good at dressing well,
and at pioneering ideas. I'm good at swimming. I'm good at blending coffees, and at camping and hiking/backpacking.
